Erika Nagae

Erika Nagae has been with AfSL as a sustainability coordinator for communities and schools since 2009. She is currently focusing on promoting and developing projects in South . Prior sustainability-themed experiences include working for Fairfield Compost as a researcher, working as a landscape gardener and introducing students of the University of to the concept of composting food waste with worms, earning the title of Ben and Jerry’s Climate Change College Ambassador for Britain. Erika is also known by some as “The Worminator”, having a higher than average knowledge and love for worms, especially the composting kind.

Hidden talents: climbing trees, getting people to make cups of tea for her, baking cakes from The Black Cat Cakery and providing shops and cafes around central and south with delicious home made cakes!
