Is your business Carbon Literate? 

Here is a chance to attend a fun and informative training day which will leave you with the skills and confidence to implement positive change in your workplace; you will even come away with a Carbon Literacy certificate, endorsed by City Council and Cooler Projects.

On Wednesday 4th December 2013 we are offering business staff the chance to take part in a training day to equip them with the skills necessary to be carbon literate. This includes:

1. Understanding the reasons behind climate change, what is already being done and what more can be done about it;
2. Understanding the possible impacts for you and your business;
3. Staying ahead of the game by responding positively to climate change without neglecting what is important to your organisation;
4. Presenting your ideas to colleagues and facilitating positive discussion;
5. Taking positive action in the workplace.

This is your opportunity to be one of the socially responsible businesses in the city of , and be an integral part of achieving the city’s target of 20% reductions of emissions by 2020.

This course is part of City Council’s aim to for to become the first carbon literate city in the country as is endorsed by : A Certain Future.
