Growth: Whalley Range Grow Your Own

Growth is project set up by volunteers for Afsl in Whalley Range
who have a keen interest in learning how to utilise their surroundings to
organically and sustainably grow vegetables, herbs and maybe more. Whether
you're a seasoned gardener or a budding enthusiast there will be something for
you to take from being involved with the project.  

We have been lucky enough to find a piece of land in Whalley Range
where we have been given permission to begin working on, in the hope of
starting up a small vegetable patch. Incorporated into the digging and getting
your feet mucky the project aims to provide a variety of information and
workshop days for volunteers so everyone can take some information home with
them and maybe even apply it to their own garden.
