Leon Patsalides, Environmental Artist

I have worked voluntarily as an environmental artist and facilitator for several groups, namely friends of the earth (calderdale), national artists association, and supported local initiatives such as celebrate in whalley range. currently i am involved in an allotment project at hough end and i am also co-ordinating a group, with the assistance of the scarman trust to create a nature reserve in that area. the allotment project aims to be totally organic, use locally sourced materials, recycle waste and produce fruti trees and vegetables there. we also hope that the project will be of interest to botanists, schools and other groups who are interested in a sustainable future.
