Kate Gray

As part of St. Mark's United Reformed Church we share a local allotment in Woodhouse Park, have created a food project so church members (and anyone interested) can buy food together in bulk more cheaply but also try and work with LOAF principals. We share a community garden, have changed to a green energy supplier and are taking steps to try and reduce our carbon footprint at the church building and at home. We have put water hippos in each of our toilets to save water & money too! In 2007 we took part in Wythenshawe Forever which involved learning about climate change, carbon footprint, sustainable living practices.
