I am currently in the final stages of a part-time master's programme in International Development: Public Policy and Management at the University of . I hope to continue working within this are with a career in Development. I am excited to begin volunteering with Action for Sustainable Living because I have become increasingly interested in learning to live more sustainably. Currently I am steadily introducing small sustainable lifestyle changes, such as biking to work and university, recycling, composting and most recently growing my own tomatoes. Not only will this opportunity provide me with increased knowledge of achievable sustainable actions in everyday life, it is also providing me with invaluable experience within the community development and not-for-profit sectors. |
