Bike Week, the annual week to promote cycling across the UK, will be held this year between 14th - 22nd June.
A cycle fair will launch 's Bike Week activities on Saturday
14th June (11am to 4pm) in Cathedral Gardens, behind Urbis. A cycle
fair will also be held on the same day in Bolton, 11am-3pm, at Victoria
Square.
The Greater Cycling Campaign (GMCC) will celebrate the week
with a series of commuter rides converging on city centre
from Chorlton, Withington, Levenshulme, Stretford and Prestwich.
Wednesday 18th June is Bike 2 Work 4 All Day when cycling commuters
will be rewarded with a hearty breakfast in St Peter's Square, courtesy
of City Council. Experienced and novice cyclists are invited
to join these rides.
