Our new website acts as a hub of information on our various projects and community action groups. The site has been completely updated and is an easy to use and accessible point of reference for those interested in finding out more about AfSL, our various activities and how to get involved. The site provides information on a variety of areas, including: current community action groups in the area, information on a variety of sustainability topics, information on upcoming events; opportunities to get involved as a volunteer and also a chance to sign up to our online pledges to live more sustainably! As well as information on AfSL's own work, the site also provides details of our partner organisations, their work and contact details. Using the open source drupal content management system, the site gives action groups and projects an opportunity to quickly and easily post up their own webpages without needing any techie knowledge or having to purchase webspace or software. Contact us if you would like to make use of this facility. NB AfSL reserves the right to edit and/or delete content that it considers to be defamatory, offensive etc., or to be irrelevant or inimical to AfSL's principles of sustainability and localness (we're not planning to make use of this right, but we need it as a safeguard). |
