This event will provide an introduction to the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4, including opportunities and requirements related to environmental education and Sustainable Development Education. It will explore case studies of successful partnerships between organisations and Secondary schools linked to the National Curriculum, and will introduce examples of resources developed to meet the needs of Secondary schools and the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4. It will also consider some of the practicalities and challenges of working with Secondary schools. 

The event is aimed at local authority officers, community and environmental workers wishing to work more effectively with Secondary Schools.
