Opportunities for volunteers

AfSL helps set up local community action groups to tackle a variety of sustainability issues. If you live in Chorlton, Old Trafford, Hulme or Whalley Range and would like to get involved then please contact us.
AfSL also needs volunteers to help with many aspects of its organisation. We regret that at the moment we only have capacity to support volunteers who are able to commit to a substantial amount of time to AfSL. If this is you, please complete the form below or send us your CV.

I would like to get involved in:

Events eg stalls, large-scale events, outdoor/green spaces work

Computers eg website development, copy editing, data entry

Design eg information displays, graphics/artwork for publicity

Promotion eg leafleting, poster distribution

Working with people eg schools, individuals, community groups

Working with organisations eg green organisations, local businesses

Fundraising eg sponsored activities, grant applications

Research eg sustainability issues and actions people can take, evaluating AfSL

Action to tackle a particular issue eg waste, fairtrade etc. (please say what)

Developing AfSL eg planning our future, managing a locality, becoming a director
