This group will take action to on food issues that are of interest to its members. Come along and share your ideas about what is needed in the area! Possible activities might include:

  • appleOrganising a food market in Whalley range
  • Designing a food map for Chorlton
  • A local food evening “Food for the future” during Fair Trade fortnight in March 2006, in partnership with Fair Trade Chorlton.  The overall aim is to raise awareness about all types of food (slow, organic, fair trade, local etc) and of course to have fun!
  • A project on learning how to grow your own food
