SUST Fashion Show - a showcase of urban Eco and Ethical wear - read the report of the SUST fashion show 7- 9pm, 4th April 2006, The Bridgewater Hall, , £7/£5 Are you SUST when it comes to fashion? Sustainable Urban Styles Today is a sustainable fashion event. The show will include outfits from local designers, fashion students, schools and community groups along with displays from ethical retailers such as Howies, Enamore, Greenfibres and THTC. It will be a chance to find out what options are available when it comes to sustainable fashion: fair trade, organic, reconditioned and more… The garment categories are:

Contact us for more information Band Night - a fundraising event for the SUST fashion show 8.30pm til late, 10th March, The Carlton Club, Whalley Range, . £2.50 entry - map The night will have a range of performances from local artists; ranging through laid back folky-soul at the beginning of the evening from Cortina Deluxe; to a mixture of strum & bass and jazz grunge from Love Panda; and finishing with upbeat funk rock from Urban Rockstar award winners, Little Engine. All additional funds raised will go towards the running of AfSL's SUST Fashion Show at The Bridgewater Hall on April 4th. The Carlton Social and Bowling Club in Whalley Range is a non-religious and non-political private member's club for the purposes of social interaction between its members.
