Old Trafford Community Allotment has been running for a number of years. The group supported by dedicated local people and Trafford Borough Council have been tending three good sized plots of land at Seymour Grove Allotments in Old Trafford, near Kings Road school.

The group have grown all sorts on the site including courgettes, marrows, pumpkins, tomatoes, thyme, potatoes, onions, chilli plants and more. Last year there was also a bumper harvest of pumpkins!

AfSL together with other local organisations is helping the group to get more peopleMap and directions to the allotment (off Kings Road near the school) involved.  Join us on a Monday, Thursday or Saturday down on the Plot.  If you can't come on one of those days, contact us, we can be flexible to people's needs.

Old Trafford Community Allotment Group (OTCAG) is a community group that work together to grow organic produce for the benefit of group members. The aim is to allow people who might not have the necessary skills, money or time to have access to allotment land for the production of food, herbs and plants, The emphasis of the group is on working together as a team and sharing skills and ideas.

OTCAG is supported by a partnership of organisations from the local area working to help people grow their own.

There are currently 5 project members maintaining and developing the site, but we need NEW MEMBERS to get involved and get mucky once every couple of weeks growing their own food.
